Mark S. Keener, CEO & Managing Partner
Mark Keener has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate investment. With his primary focus on identifying opportunities and investors Mark has successfully owned and/or operated over 1,000 multifamily units in California and Texas. Mark founded International Partners in 2000 and has earned outstanding financial returns for its investors. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA in Real Estate from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. With their depth of experience, the Advisory Team serves like a Board of Directors of any world-class real estate investment company. Collectively, the Advisory Team has over 200 years of real estate investment experience.

Further, their collective experience covers all major aspects of multifamily and condo real estate investments including acquisitions, brokering, capital raising, deal structure, development, distressed properties, feasibility, financial modeling, opportunistic properties, renovations/rehabs/remodels, strategic planning and valuation.

Ash Baraghoush
Ash Baraghoush was previously with Ares Management, a fund management firm based in Los Angeles, responsible for originating and structuring senior mortgages, mezzanine, preferred equity and common equity for real estate opportunities. Prior to Ares, Ash worked for QVT Mount Auburn Capital (subsidiary of QVT Financial) where he had similar responsibilities as Ares Management. Prior to QVT, Ash was a Director with Hanover responsible for structuring and underwriting joint venture equity for real estate opportunities. Ash began his career at Bank of America in its Global Corporate Investment Banking division. Ash holds a BA in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Berah McSwain
Berah McSwain has managed a boutique private equity firm specializing in private placements over the past 15 years. He recruited and led a team of five senior executives that sourced and underwrote a $1.12 Billion pipeline of proposed real estate development projects identified for equity and mezzanine funding that yield 19% return of capital ahead of target date. Berah also underwrote and financed commercial real estate loans ranging from $5 million to over $50 million as part of multiple billion dollar CMBS tranches. Prior to that Berah was with Arthur Andersen’s Real Estate Group where he completed valuation/highest and best use analysis for raw land, multifamily, office, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties with values over $100 million. Berah McSwain holds a MBA from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management and a BA from California State University, Hayward.

Bob Kagan
Bob Kagan has 40+ years career experience in real estate lending, development and deal-making for acquisitions, entitlements, financing, development, construction management and marketing for all types of real estate properties. Bob’s development experience includes condominiums and multifamily apartment housing. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley. He has taught real estate finance at the College of Business at San Francisco State University, and has been a Senior Adjunct Professor in the Graduate School of Business Administration at Golden Gate University in San Francisco for 30 years.

John L. Guillory
John Guillory has lead real estate investments, development and project management for over 40 years. He is currently a president and founding partner at Northridge Group, Inc. where he serves an array of corporate, governmental and institutional clients.  Prior to that John founded Guilltone Properties, a firm that grew to 300 persons covering project, facilities and security management. John is a board member at Stanford University, Eureka Federal Savings Bank and Children’s Hospital Foundation among others. He holds a BA Degree in Political Science from Stanford University, an MBA degree from Pepperdine College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from San Francisco Law School.

Josephine Hart
Josephine Hart brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a proven track record in real estate development and finance. Specializing in self-storage, hospitality, retail, and early-stage investments, Josephine's strategic approach involves identifying overlooked opportunities and repositioning assets for increased profitability. In her various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President Development at Great American Storage LLC and CEO at JH FL Holdings, LLC, Josephine has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead successful real estate projects. Her commitment to using local resources and collaborating closely with communities aligns with International Partners' goal of creating opportunities for jobs, training, and education. Josephine's extensive career and expertise in enterprise development makes her a valuable addition to the Advisory Board, contributing to its collective strength in deal structure, development, and strategic planning.

Peter Harris
Peter Harris has been succeeding in real estate for over 15 years and has purchased over 1,000 units totaling over $20 million. He is also a CEO of a commercial real estate consultancy in San Francisco, CA, The Apartment Consultant. In addition, Peter is a co-author of two books on real estate and a prominent speaker at real estate seminars. He holds a BS degree in Applied Physics from Cal-State University Northridge.

Stephen Scott
Stephen Scott has achieved entrepreneurial success in both residential real estate development and Internet technology development. Stephen has previously developed affordable housing in Baltimore city, while promoting city sponsored home-ownership programs that helped low income section 8 tenants transition to homeowners. Stephen has also developed Internet companies from the ground up, in addition to offering consulting services to technology start-ups. Stephen has been instrumental in developing the International Partners, LLC web site and investor engagement portal. He holds BS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of North Dakota.

Thomas B. Wilkinson, IV
Tom Wilkinson has performed real estate marketing services for institutional and individual investors since 1972. He has a BA in Mathematics from Rice University and an MBA in Real Estate Investments from the University of Texas. In addition to brokering real estate, Tom previously owned and operated more than 80 properties. Tom has successfully marketed properties for and to dozens of individual, business and institutional sellers and buyers, including REO properties for the RTC, FNMA and FreddieMac.
