Managing Director, Investment Capital

Ideal Candidate

Accomplished, driven, ambitious, and proven leader with experience with recruiting, training and building high performance teams in the investment arena or comparable business segments related to professional sales and having the polish and professional mannerism to attract high net worth, ultra-high net worth and similar individual investors. Furthermore, possess the ability to interact in an attractive manner to understand the investment criteria of some institutional investors such as family offices, hedge funds, sovereign investment funds, and real estate private equity funds.

Leadership Role & Responsibilities

Assume the leadership role and responsibility of recruiting, training and building a team of consultants focused on growing our database of prospective investors to a monetized value in excess of $1.5 billion in order to have ample equity capital to be subscribed and placed into investments to meet the goal of $500mm of invested capital by the end of 2024.

Prerequisite Skills Include:

  • Leading by example by building, or bringing from prior relationships, a team of professionals, plus a database of prospective investors that can be monetized to determine the amount of funds available to invest.
  • Recruiting and training an organizational team of investment Consultants and Directors.
  • Developing those who desire and are capable of becoming Managing Directors too [MD] in order to provide a supply of MDs to head up markets in North America, Europe and Latin America.

Equity Ownership & Compensation:

The ideal candidate will have a comp package that includes a percentage of profits, equity, and commissions for invested dollars from their clients plus and override on the invested dollars of their team of Consultants and Directors.

The following is an example of the mixture of commissions, equity ownership, and profit sharing.

  1. Advance Draw: Performance based and linked to the amount of investor profiles entered in the database.
  2. Base Commission
  3. Team Override Base Commission
  4. Equity and percentage of profit at the corporate or LLC entity level.
  5. Equity and percentage of profit at the acquired asset level

Targets:

Investor Types:
Accredited, sophisticated high net worth, ultra-high net worth and family offices

Investor Markets:
North America, Europe, Middle East and Latin America to start. Later Asia and Africa

Asset Types:
Class B & C Garden-style communities with preferably +100 apartments.
